Lance-Corporal Casey's leave ends on the

21st October and the War Office course lasts until the

22nd of that month. I suggest that if it convenient

for Lance-Corporal Casey to attend that course, his

leave might be extended for say a week to enable him

to make the necessary arrangements. I suggest that

we should inform the W.0. that the S. of S. is

prepared to do this and ask them to communicate direct

with the officers concerned for making the necessary

arrangements. Add that the C.A. will be asked to pay

the fees for the course upon being informed that

arrangements have definitely been made for the officers

concerned to attend them.
